Grinch C2C Scarf

Materials: 

Truboo Yarn- White, Green, Red, Yellow and Black

Hook- 5.0m

Yarn needle

Scissors

Video

Length-52 ½ inches or as long as you like

 

Scarf

White Yarn

Row 1: Ch 6, hdc in 4th ch from hook and in next 2 ch, turn. (First block made)

Row 2: Ch 6, hdc in 4th ch from hook and in next 2 ch, sl st ch-3-sp from the previous row, ch 3, 3 hdc in that ch space, turn.

Row 3: Ch 6, hdc in 4th ch from hook and in next 2 ch, sl st in next ch-3-sp from the previous row, ch 3, 3 hdc in that ch space, turn.

Row 4: Sl st in next ch 3 space ch 3, 3 hdc in next ch-3 space, turn.

You will continue this pattern until you have 12 rows.



Note: At the end of row 12 you will dec Then on row 13 you will dec on one side while inc on the other side. On one side instead of ch 3, 3 hdc in next ch 3 spaces, you will sl st to the ch 3 space (or you can sc to the ch 3 space) and then do your sl st, ch 3, 3 hdc in the ch 3 space. You will continue this throughout the project.

Green Yarn

Row 13-16: All blocks in green.

First photo sl st in ch 3 space. Second photo turn your work sl st or sc to ch 3 space then sl st in ch 3 space, continue pattern.

Row 17:  Fist 6 blocks in green and 6 blocks in black.

Row 18: First 6 blocks in green, next block in black and the rest of the blocks in green.

Row 19: All blocks in green.

Row 20: First block in green, next block in yellow, next 5 blocks in green, next block in black, the rest are in green.

Row 21: 9 blocks in green, 2 blocks in yellow, last block in green.

Row 22: First block in green, next 3 blocks in yellow, next 4 blocks in green, next block in black, 3 blocks in green.

Row 23: First 6 blocks in green, next block in black, next block in green, next block in yellow, next block in black, next block in yellow, rest in green.

Row 24: First block in green, next 2 blocks in yellow, next block in black, next block in yellow, next block in green, next block in black, next 2 blocks in green, next block in black, rest in green.

Row 25: First 7 blocks in green, next 3 blocks in yellow, next block in black, last block in white.

Row 26: First 2 blocks in white, next 3 blocks in black, next 5 blocks in green, next block in black, last block in green.

Row 27: First 3 blocks in green, next 2 blocks in yellow, next 2 block in green, next 2 blocks in black, last 3 in white.

Row 28: First 4 blocks in white, next 3 blocks in green, next 3 blocks in yellow, next block in green, last block in black.

Row 29: First block in green, next 2 blocks in yellow, next 2 blocks in black, next 2 blocks in green, next 4 blocks in white, last block red.

Row 30: First 2 blocks in red, next 4 blocks in white, next block in green, next block in black, next block in yellow, next block in black, next block in yellow, last block in green.

Row 31: First block in green, next 2 blocks in yellow, next block in black, next block in green, next 4 blocks in white, last 3 blocks in red.

Row 32: First 4 block in red, next 4 blocks in white, next block in black, next 2 blocks in yellow, last block in green.

Row 33: First block in green, next block in yellow, next block in black, next 4 blocks in white, last 5 blocks in red.

Row 34: First 6 blocks in red, next 4 blocks in white, next block in black, last block in green.

Row 35: First block in green, next 4 blocks in white, last 7 blocks in red.

Row 36: First 8 blocks in red, last 4 in white.

Row 37: First 3 blocks in white, last 9 in red.

Row 38: First 10 blocks in red, last 2 blocks in white.

Row 39: First block in white, last 11 blocks in red.

Now you will continue to c2c in red until scarf is as long as you want.

Once you have the length of your scarf then you want to start to dec on both sides of the scarf. When I had only 6 blocks left, I used some white fluffy yarn on the corner.
