Materials

Hook D 3.25

Yarn – Worsted weight yarn: White, Pink or Retro, Gray

Stuffing

Yarn Needle

Scissors

Safety Eyes or Black Yarn

 

Ears (Make Two)

Round 1: With pink or retro Ch 2, 6 sc in second ch from hook. (6)

Round 2: 1 sc in each st. (6)

Round 3: 2 sc in each st. (12)

Round 4: 1 sc in each st. (12)

Round 5: 1sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (18)

Round 6: 1 sc in each st. (18)

Round 7: 1sc in next 2 st’s, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (24)

Round 8: 1 sc in each st. (24) Leave long tail for sewing.

 

 

 

Head

Round 1: With pink or retro ch 2, 6 sc in second ch from hook. (6)

Round 2: 2 sc in each st. (12)

Round 3: 1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (18)

Round 4: 1 sc in next 2 st’s, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (24)

Round 5: 1 sc in next 3 st’s, 2 sc in next st repeat to end. (30)

Round 6: 1 sc in next 4 st’s, 2 sc in next st repeat to end. (36)

Round 7: 1 sc in next 5 st’s, 2 sc in next st repeat to end. (42) 

Round 8: 1 sc in next 6 st’s, 2 sc in next st repeat to end. (48) 

Round 9-10: 1 sc in each st. (48)

Round 11: 1 sc in next 19 st’s in white, 1 sc in next 10 st’s in pink or retro, 1 sc in next 19 st’s in white. (48)

Round 12: 1 sc in next 20 st’s in white, 1 sc in next 8 st’s in pink or retro, 1 sc in next 20 st’s in white. (48)

Round 13: 1 sc in next 21 st’s in white, 1 sc in next 6 st’s in pink or retro, 1sc in next 21 st’s in white. (48)

Round 14: 1 sc in next 22 st’s in white, 1 sc in next 4 st’s in pink or retro, 1 sc in next 22 st’s in white. (48)

Round 15: 1 sc in next 23 st’s in white, 1 sc in next 2 st’s in pink or retro, 1 sc in next 23 st’s in white. (48)

At this point you can attach the ears to top of head.

 

Eyes and Nose

If your using safety eyes place them between row 12-13 7 st’s away, if you are using black yarn watch the video below.

Round 16: 1 sc in each st. (48)

Round 17: 1 sc in next 6 st’s, dec in next st, repeat to end. (42)

Round 18: 1 sc in next 5 st’s, dec in next st, repeat to end. (36)

Round 19: 1 sc in next 4 st’s, dec in next st, repeat to end. (30)

Round 20: 1 sc in next 3 st’s, dec in next st, repeat to end. (24)

Round 21: 1 sc in next 2 st’s, dec in next st, repeat to end. (18)

Round 22: 1 sc in next st, dec in next st, repeat to end. (12)

Round 23: 1 sc in each st. (12) Finish Off

 

Arms (make 2):

 

Round 1:  With white, ch 2, 5 sc in 2nd ch.  (5 st) Work in rounds

 

Round 2:  2 sc in ea st (10 st)

Round 3:  1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (15 st)

Round 4-6:  sc around (15 st)

Round 7:  1sc in next st, dec in next st, repeat to end. (10 st). 

Round 8-26:  With pink, 1sc around (10 st). 

Sl st to next sc and fasten off leaving a long strand for finishing.  Stuff firmly, leaving long tail for sewing.

 

 

Blanket

Round 1: With pink, ch 4, join, ch 3, 12 hdc in ring, join (12 hdc)

Round 2:  Ch 2, 2 hdc in each st. Join (24 hdc)

Round 3:  Ch 2, skip next st, 1 hdc, ch 3, 1 hdc in next st, repeat to end

Round 4: Ch 3, 1 hdc in next st, 2 hdc, ch 3, 2 hdc in each ch 3 sp, repeat to end. Join.

Round 5:  With gray Ch 2, 1 sc in next 2 st’s, 2sc, ch 3, 2 sc in ch 3 sp, repeat to end, Join.

Round 6:  With white, Ch 3, 1 hdc in next 3 st’s, 2 hdc, ch 3, 2 hdc in ch 2 sp, repeat to end, Join.

Round 7:  Ch 3, 1 hdc in next 4 st’s, 2 hdc, ch 3, 2 hdc in ch 3 sp, repeat to end, join.

Round 8:  Ch 3, 1 hdc in next 5 st’s, 2 hdc, ch 3, 2 hdc in ch 3 sp, repeat to end, join.

Round 9:  With gray, Ch 2, 1 sc in next 6 st’s, 2 sc, ch 3, 2 sc in ch 3 sp, repeat to end, Join.

Now you will sew the arms on to the middle of blanket then sew on head and enjoy!
