Row 2: Hdc in each st in blo. (12 st’s)

Row 3: Hdc in each st in flo. (12 st’s)

Row 4 - 70: Repeat rows 2-3. Make sure the band fits around the widest part of hips, adjust if needed by adding or subtracting rows. You want to put the two ends of your band together and sc them together.

Pants Legs

Turning work right side out, sc across top of waist band.

Row 1: 1 Hdc in each st, flo.

Row 2: Hdc in each st, until you are ready to connect both sides.

Making The Leg

Round 3: Count out your st’s and divide by 2, use a st marker to mark your st’s, ch as many ch’s as you need to be comfortable an hdc to other side, try on you shorts to make sure they are comfortable, adjust by subtracting or adding ch’s.

Round 4: Hdc in to each st and ch, continue hdc until you get to the 5 round and on the 6 round you will decrease.

To decrease you count out the st’s you have and divide by an even number, subtract 2 from that number and that’s the decease number.  So, for one leg I counted out 102 st’s, I divided 102 by 6 and got 17, then took away 2 from that number and got 15, 15 is the number of st’s I hdc in before I dec.

Row 4-9: 1 hdc in each st’s.

Row 10: 1 hdc in next 15, dec in next st’s, repeat every 6th round.

Cuffs

With Taupe Ch 12 + 1(for turning ch) turn.

Row 1: Hdc in each ch. (12 st’s)

Row 2: Hdc in each st in blo. (12 st’s)

Row 3: Hdc in each st in flo. (12 st’s)

Continue rows 2-3 until you have a cuff that fits around your ankle, then sew the cuff to the bottom of your pants.

Belt

Ch as many as you need to go around your waist and tie into a bow, then weave in and out of pants waits band. Now you may enjoy.
