Materials:
Worsted weight yarn in your choice of color, I used Caron Simply Soft Pumpkin and Anthracite
Crochet hook (size H/5.0mm or appropriate for your yarn)
Abbreviations:
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
sl st: slip stitch
st(s): stitch(es)
Instructions:
Basket Body:
Round 1: Put 2 sc in each hole.
Round 2: Ch 1, 1 sl st in each st.
Round 3: Ch 1, 1 hdc in each st.
Round 4: Repeat rounds 2 and 3 until basket is as tall as you like. Fasten off and weave in any loose ends.
Handles:
Hdc in next 39 st’s, ch 13 skip 13, repeat.
Last step is to do 1 hdc in each st and 13 hdc
in ch space. Enjoy.
