Note: All the yarn I use for this hat is scrap yarn I had left over from other projects. I am so sorry I don’t remember what the yarn is called. But here is some yarn that I think will work great for this project.
Materials
Yarn- YarnArt Baby Cotton- Color: 417, Color: 410
C2C Square
Ch 6
Row 1: Hdc in 3rd ch from hook and in next 2 ch; turn – 1 block made.
Row 2: Ch 6, hdc in 4th ch from hook and in next 2 ch, slip st in ch 3 space of previous row, ch 2, 3 hdc in space; turn –2 blocks made. Repeat row 2 to desired size. You will need 27 squares.
Put Square Together
Do 2 rounds of hdc around squares
Put Together Bag
Handles
Ch 11, 2 rounds of hdc, then 2 more rounds of hdc in another color continue until handle is as long as you like. Then sew handles on to bag.
