- Yarn- Yarnart Jeans White and Pink (any color, cotton yarn works best for durability).
- Hook 3.5mm
- Metal clasp frame for coin purses (easily found online or at craft stores).
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- Optional: Lining fabric for the inside (and sewing needle/thread).

Pattern:
Base (Oval Shape):
Round 1: Ch 11. In the second ch from the hook, sc. Sc in the next 9 ch. In the last ch, work 3 sc to round the corner. Working on the other side of the chain, sc in the next 9 ch. In the last ch, work 2 sc. (22)
Round 2: Inc in the first st, sc in the next 9 st, inc in each of the next 3 st, sc in the next 9 st, inc in the last 2 st. (28)
Round 4: Inc in the first st, sc in the next 11 st, inc in each of the next 3 st, sc in the next 10 st, inc in the last 2 st. (34)
Round 5: Sc in each st around. (34)
Repeat Round 5 until the base is the desired size for your coin purse.
Body:
1. Begin working sc in each st around without increasing. This will build the body of the purse.
2. Continue until the body is tall enough to fit your clasp frame (around 2–3 inches tall).
3. FO and weave in ends.
