• Yarn- Yarnart Jeans in white (body), red (comb), yellow (beak).
• Hook 3.5mm and 2.5mm
• Fiberfill stuffing
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
• Safety eyes (or black yarn for embroidered eyes).

Round 2: Inc in each st around. (12)

Round 3: Sc, inc repeat around. (18)

Round 4: 2 sc, inc repeat around. (24)

Round 5: 3 sc, inc repeat around. (30)

Round 6: 4 sc, inc repeat around. (36)

Round 7: 5 sc, inc repeat around. (42)

Round 8-25: Sc in each st around. (42)

Add safety eyes between rounds 14 and 15, spaced evenly

Round 26: 5 sc, dec repeat around. (36)

Round 27: 4 sc, dec repeat around. (30)

Round 28: 3 sc, dec repeat around. (24)

Round 29: 2 sc, dec repeat around. (18)

Stuff body.

Round 30: sc, dec repeat around. (12)

Round 31: Dec around. (6)

FO and weave the tail through the remaining stitches. Pull tight to close.

In yellow yarn, ch 4, join.

Flatten beak and attach right below the eyes.

Round 6: Sc, dec repeat. (12)

Round 7: Sc, in each st. (12)

FO and sew to the top of the head.

Wings (Make 2): 3.5mm

In white yarn, ch 7

Round 1: Sc in next 5 st, 3 sc in last st, working on the other side of the chain, sc in the next 5 ch, In the last ch, work 2 sc. (15)

Round 2-3: Sc in each st. (15)

Round 4: 2 sc in the first st, sc in the next 6 st’s, 3 sc in next st, sc in the next 6 st’s, 2 sc in last st. (19)

Round 5-10: Sc in each st. (19)

Flatten and attach one to each side of the body.
